Multi-Cultural Celebration

Closed to 300 children and family members attended the Mundelein District 75 Multi-Cultural Celebration in which students showcased various cultures with posters, ethnic dishes and professional and student performances.

There are about 400 students in grades kindergarten through eight in the district’s English Language Learner program. There are 33 languages spoken in District 75 homes.

“The annual Multicultural Celebration pays tribute to the rich cultural diversity found in our district,” said Yesenia Sanchez, District 75 Director of ELL/Bilingual.
