SUBSTITUTES WANTED! DAILY RATE INCREASE
The daily pay rate is $135 per day. To sub for a teacher, you need a Bachelor’s degree in any field, plus a substitute license. To sub for a paraprofessional, you will need an associate’s degree, plus a paraprofessional license. Local Entrepreneur Speaks to Students

Local business owner Tony Volpentesta, aka Tony Cannoli, spoke to 8th grade students in the Career Tech class at Carl Sandburg Middle School. Volpentesta told the students how he followed his passions into a thriving career. “My true passion is entrepreneurship. I do love being in the kitchen, however, my passion for being in the kitchen did not develop until my mid twenties. Once the two came together, it only seemed natural to open up tony cannoli,” said Volpentesta.
