AND… THEY’RE OFF!

A Night at the Races is coming! Food, beverages, simulated off track racing, live and silent auctions, prizes, and more will make this second annual one-of-a-kind event an evening to remember. Consider joining in on the fun at Luigi's Ristorante at 1130 W. Maple Ave., on Saturday, May 4th at 6:30 pm.

Single tickets are $35 and arranged table seating options are also available at group rates. Additional information can be found on the website - www.innovate75.com. All money raised by this STEAM Foundation sponsored fundraiser supports a variety of innovative D75 STEAM Foundation learning projects and activities – Robotics, the musical, the Cyber Patriot team, Saturday and Summer STEAMER camps - to name just a few.

Light it Up Blue for Autism Awareness!

Tuesday, April 2 is World Autism Awareness Day and we’re asking all staff and students in Mundelein District 75 to wear blue to shine a light on autism awareness. Autism Spectrum Disorder is a neurological disorder that impacts 1 in 59 children. Please help us shine a light on ASD by wearing blue on Tuesday, April 2!

2019-20 Kindergarten Informational Meeting April 2nd 5:00pm -7:00 pm

Children who are 5 years old September 1, 2019 are eligible for Kindergarten enrollment for the 2019-2020 school year. There will be an informational meeting about the Two Way Immersion Program at Washington Early Learning Center at 5:30 pm on Tuesday April 2nd. The school is located at 122 S. Garfield Street.


Parents may register their children for Kindergarten at the informational event.

Project Enye Documentary Screening

On Monday, February 25th at 6:30 pm in the MHS Auditorium, District 75 will be collaborating with Mundelein High School to bring an amazing opportunity to our students, families, and community. We’ll be screening the documentary Project Enye at the MHS auditorium with a panel discussion to follow. Project Enye is a film about growing up as a first generation Latino/a/x in the United States and will spark lots of thinking and important discussions. Whether you identify as Latino/a/x or not, please come share in the experience with us. This film is best for a middle school and up audience. Babysitting will be provided.

Mundelein residents are invited to a forum to meet candidates for the Mundelein District School 75 Board of Education on Wednesday, March 6, from 6 pm- 7 pm at Carl Sandburg Middle School. The event is sponsored by the Mundelein Elementary Education Association.

BLOOD DRIVE SURPASSES ALL EXPECTATIONS

A blood drive held in honor of Mundelein School District 75 teacher Kristen Meister surpassed all expectations, with 80 volunteers donating blood or red blood cells during the drive held on Tuesday, February 19.
The drive was spearheaded by Brian Bautista, whose daughter was a former student of Meister’s. Meister was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in August 2018.

Help Mundelein School District 75 Save Lives by Donating Blood!

On Tuesday February 19th, Mundelein School District 75 will be hosting a Community Blood Drive at the District Office.


The blood drive is to honor our kind-hearted colleague and Kindergarten teacher, Kristen Meister, who was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in August 2018. In late November, Kristen’s CT scans showed that her cancer was gone to minimally visible in just three months!
